<text> The second part of the AMUG Disk by Mail service is a subscription service. This service is set up to get you the latest AMUG library disk as soon they are available to the club members. If you take advantage of this service every month you will get in the mail usually within one week after the General meeting three 800k diskettes with the latest public domain and shareware software. The fee for the Subscription service is $25 for three months, $50 for six months and $100 for one year (12 months). That is all you will pay. The subscription service can be obtained by sending your fee and stating the month you would like your subscription to start. If that months library is in stock then it will be sent out as soon as I get your order. The cover had the Apple logo with the burning question of the day “Can Apple Hold Together?” It seems they thought Apple had problems with the departure of key personnel, a drop in its stock price, a reorganization of Apple by John Sculley, and Computers that cost too much. The consensus was that Apple was in deep trouble. Does all that sound familiar? Well, they could just about slap a new date on the cover and carry the same editorial today. But, they were wrong about Apple’s staying power then, and are now, I hope and trust and believe (“You gotta believe”).</text>
